Very thick, lush and soft. I got them because I work midnights and wanted blackout. The curtains themselves are great for that just make sure you get a curtain rod that can go close to the wall or else the light above seeps in. Beautiful colour. Looks very expensive and great quality. Highly recommend

These curtains were exactly what we wanted!! They hang well, they are very thick and well made. They definitely back out the light, which is perfect because we're going to have a newborn baby sleeping in the same room for a few months!! Very elegant. Completed our master suite perfectly!!

Love these curtains! I am actually using them in front of a couple of doors to block out a draft and they do a wonderful job (even better than expected)! The quality of the fabric is nice and rich, I got the true color. They definitely block out the light as well. Will likely purchase more for my windows in the future.

I'm so glad I found these! These are the first curtains I bought that I am happy about! The curtains are well made and thick. The color is truly match and looks great against my white walls. They do let a bit of light through, as seen in the photo. Most importantly, they help tremendously with dampening the sound in the room and from the street. Wish I had found these sooner!

These are exactly what I was looking for! The off-white color is perfect; I have several white, cream, and grey tones in my room and these match great. We have large windows that let a lot of light in and these do a wonderful job at blocking the sun and keeping the heat down. Will probably end up purchasing more for other rooms in my house.

So, our guest room, decorated almost completely with Half Price Drapes items. Totally loving the velvet room darkening curtains, as they feel good to touch and work so well with the southern exposure light and temperature. I would consider these luxurious, truly, as the touch of softness and quality is memorable. (Who else can say they look forward to opening their curtains in the morning and closing them at night because they FEEL GOOD Lol. Laughable, but it is the little things of life.) These drapes are lined and heavy. Dry clean only. They are gorgeous. Very happy. Will be ordering more for our bay window.

I use these in my office, a building that is almost 200 years old and has significant issues with the heat/cold being contained with the windows. On really hot or cold days, I pull them shut and it helps greatly. Otherwise, they're just beautiful curtains that hang and drape like luxury ones. I love them so much that I'm hoping to replace my living room name brand ones with these. They are a thick velvet material with weighted bottoms. I used clips to hang them and it worked great.

I love how thick and heavy they are. They are also extremely soft to the touch and lost their wrinkles after a couple days of hanging. The backing is also very good quality. You're able to slide a curtain rod between the layers or you can use hooks to attach to the back of the curtain. Would definitely buy again!

I LOVE these drapes. They're heavy and soft, and really help regulate the temperature in the room during the winter and summer months. The color was perfect, and they give a great amount of privacy to a large window facing other condos. I love them so much that I was almost in tears when my daughter ran up to hide behind them ketchup around her mouth.

these are so pretty, I ordered four panels and went back for four more today. the off white color is truly off white; no yellowing in the color at all which is what I was looking for; I ordered them on sale and could not have make them for this price. I could not be more pleased. the feel is more of a suede than velvet because of the matt finish. And they came out of the package almost wrinkle free. and the wrinkles feel out our night.

I was so surprised at the fine quality of workmanship, and material. I never see this kind of excellence anymore. Love the color! Thank You, I will not hesitate to order from Half Price Drapes again!

Blackout is somewhere around 90% with this lighter colour fabric, which has been more than sufficient. The velvet material is super soft, heavy, hangs nicely, and slides easily along curtain rod. Happy with the colour and quality of this purchase!

Love these! They were a little wrinkled upon delivery but I figured I would hang and let them fall over time. Really brightened up the room. Love that they look expensive but without the large price. Highly recommend.

The curtains are gorgeous. The fabric is soft, high quality fabric, and hang beautifully with no wrinkles to speak of. The natural color is just as pictured, however, I do recommend ordering a swatch to make sure you get what you are looking for because I almost got a different gray before ordering the natural color swatch which matches perfectly with my living and dining space. Highly recommend these curtain panels if you are looking for a good quality velvet!

I cannot get over how much I love these drapes. They are fabulous! Nice velvet texture, fully lined blackout feature, and heavy drape.

We love these curtains! They block a good amount of the light. They lay very nicely and look luxurious. Definitely can tell they're high quality. They really elevate our master bedroom.

I was hesitant to purchase over the price, but the silver grey colour looks so glamorous and I'm so happy with the final product! The curtains are not too blue toned, and not to silver - they are the perfect shade of grey! I would buy these curtains again in a heart beat because I love the heavy weight of them and the velvet texture! The only negative is that they do come out of the package with some wrinkles here and there, but do not worry - once you hang them, they disappear.

Does a good job in blocking out light, but don't expect full blackout. I think it slightly reduces external noise, but hard to say because we have very little to start with. The curtains are attractive. I suppose they should be ironed, but we can't be bothered....

I got these in the perfact color. They are true to description. Color is gorgeous, they are heavy so they don't look cheap. I ordered them for my loft/bedroom. They are good to block out the sun/light.

These are soft, subtle velvet texture, heavy, good quality, not too wrinkly, true to length advertised (rod to floor), bright colour, true blackout (so no change in the colour in the sunlight), looks nice next to white wall (not too different in fact), elegant, and classic. 5 stars all around. I have a large bay window on the sunset side of the house and needed a rustic, extra wide, blackout curtain. These were exactly what I needed. We are selling this house and I know the buyers are going to be in awe of the look and want the curtains with the house! The pictures don't do it justice just how large it makes the window look.

Love them in my dining room! They’re touch the floor and give a romantic look. They’re 100 blackout and have a luxurious velvety finish to them. I also appreciate the different pleated, rod or clip options available. I opted for the rod pocket option. They’re extremely wide as well and when shut, they’re very beautiful and still scrunched. The best curtains I’ve ever purchased, hands down! I’ve referred many people to these curtains when they ask about them.

Beautiful quality velvet (not crushed) that is a true black out drape. I have purchased these two separate times (years apart) and the color is true to each one. I have them in the master bedroom and our tv room and they never fail to block out the light! Tabs on the back can be used or a sleeve for hanging. I used the tabs because I liked the way they hung better. They are heavy and even have weights at the bottom so there’s no worry of the a/c blowing them open while you’re trying to sleep. Plus you can’t beat the price??

I purchased these panels for our Media Room. Well, let me tell you...they far surpassed my expectations. The color was spot on, the material is perfect and the blackout...real does blackout. Give these a try, I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

I love these curtains! They block out plenty of sun when pleated and not stretched to the max width. They’re soft and I had no problems hanging them without curtain rings. They are weighted at the bottom and feel very expensive. The color blends beautifully. One panel had dirtdust in one corner as previously mentioned, but it brushed almost completely off and can’t be seen. Would highly recommend these curtains!!

Wow! These curtains are thick and are by far the best blackout curtains I’ve ever owned. what I purchased is rich and beautiful. I loved them so much I went to purchase two additional panels for another room only to find they no longer had my color - my hubby was really bummed about that as he was hoping to block out the outside light in our bedroom. I would highly recommend these panels. They look much more expensive than they are.

The drapes arrived in a box and packaged safely. The fabric is high-quality and drapes beautifully. The colour was very true to the picture and I am very pleased with how it hangs. It is a heavy fabric and the extra width does add weight to the rod so we made sure to find studs to secure it and strong rod to support longevity. I loved it so much, I ordered another for our kitchen area.

I ordered the drapes for our son's nursery. They are very soft and smooth. Heavy so they do block all light. I purchased curtain rings and hung using the provided drape pins. However, it was plenty to hang and it looks great! I am very pleased and would recommend.

I received the curtains 2 days before expected, which was a lovely surprise. The curtains are lovely, and certainly of excellent quality, providing for privacy, as well as protection from cold and heat.

I got these for our new bedroom which are WALL TO CEILING windows. I didn't know what I was going to do with the fact the room got really cold at night and steamy hot during the day because of the sun. They help control the temperature of the room and even help with SOUND reduction. I got them long enough so they'd pool on the ground which really prevents cold or hot coming through. :) HIGHLY recommended!

Beautiful quality product (thick material with lining) with soft velvet feel. Definitely light and noise reducing. If I used back tabs it would have been a much easier install. Also make sure to measure width of window, drapery should be double the width if you want a full look. I only ordered the width of window because I wanted the drapery to remain open in middle (I have shades underneath)

These curtains were amazing for the price paid. Quality construction and materials. Hung with hooks and rings for an upscale look. Also added designer trim remnant to leading edges. Quite impressive result for little financial investment.

I ordered one set for a spare bedroom and liked them so much I went back and bought a second. I have not had the best luck with rods, so they aren’t up yet, but both colors are rich and beautiful.

These look and feel like a heavy velvet. They really are true black out curtains. They're really nice really easy to hang they have loops in the back that you can put your ride through or you can use pens I just went with the loops and they hang very nicely and I just open and close them manually and it's been just fine very nice I've gotten spots on them already with two large pitbull's and just used a little paper towel and some water and dabbed it clean super easy you cannot steam them I think if you want to get the wrinkles completely out you would probably need to take them to a dry cleaners pretty sure that's what they recommend I'm just letting him hang and will patiently await for the wrinkles to fall out on their own and I think they look great But then I'm going for a pretty casual beachy atmosphere.

Exactly what I wanted. It's not really velvet in a classic sense but from the other reviews I read before ordering I was expecting more of a velour style fabric. I ordered two panels and for the area they cover they completely block the light - perfect. The sides of course let in some light as my rod doesn't wrap 'back' and the only solution would be to perfects add another panel so there is lots of extra fabric pooled at the sides - not worth the expense to me but keep it in mind. The colour is also perfect.

These look and feel amazing, and the color is perfect. They fall beautifully and do not take any extra ironing or steaming - they were crease-free within minutes of taking them out of the packaging.

We bought these velvet drapes and hold in heat, and offer some privacy where a door could not be easily installed. We love them! They are so soft its hard not to just keep touching them. They hang beautifully and are very well-made.

I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THESE CURTAINS! I will need to "train' them so that they hang properly but that's completely normal. They even help drown out the traffic from the highway outside of my apartment. They definitely block draft too and brighten my ugly beige walls. I enjoy looking at them and am so thankful!

We ordered these curtains, and they are absolutely beautiful. They are thick and heavy and certainly room-darkening, but the color is a light grey and adds good depth without being too dark. I would recommend ordering these with a pair of shear white curtains as well and hanging them on a double rod - it is perfect!

LOVE these drapes! I've been on the hunt for extra long curtains with a velvet texture, thick, blackout, thermal, able to hang with rings...these have all of that. Most expensive curtains I own, but they're worth the money as they look and feel more luxurious than the ones I looked at from Restoration Hardware, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel. Beautiful quality fabric, very soft and sturdy - drape very well. I got the true color. Great color that doesn't make the room feel too dark.

The quality is absolutely fantastic! my grandmother and mother were professional seamstress and I know a lot about the workmanship that is put into sewing and these are on point! this company did not skimp!!! I will be ordering again. I highly suggest taking them to the cleaners to be pressed, it will be a task if you try to do them yourself.

I've ordered an insane amount of curtains from Half Price Drapes but these are my favorite by FAR!! They are pricey, especially when you have to order multiple panels since you only receive one panel per order. The color is a perfect, slightly off-white that will go with almost any color scheme. I have them in a room that's done in cool tones and they are lovely and I think they would look even nicer in a room done with warm-toned color/ decor. There are multiple ways of hanging them. You can hang them with the rod tabs or with drapery rings and hooks. And they are %100 light blocking curtains! .. The only con, well regarding the set i ordered, there was some kind of damage to the packaging and some sort of rust looking liquid was all over the packaging and marked both of my curtains. There were other curtains in my order but the substance was only on these two which makes me think it had to do with the warehouse where they were packaged so I have to contact customer service regarding this to see if I can exchange them out, but other than that, they are awesome.

I just received my order and hung my curtains last night.These curtains are BEAUTIFUL. The fabric is so soft, they are a beautiful matte texture velvet (more like soft suede). So luxurious. They are surely the most luxurious looking curtains i've ever owned. Minimal wrinkles straight out of the packs they came in. Love all the different options you have with hanging them. I used the loops on the back to get a pleated look and i'm obsessed with it. Also, the blackout liner is really effective. It was kind of hard to capture the color of the curtains in my photos because my bedroom lighting is warm.

True black out curtains!! First and foremost they are beautiful. They are soft and is a very light. These curtains block out so much light.

I bought the electric rod for these due to being very high curtains. I bought 3 rods 2 drapes on each rod and once they were all installed, the 1 remote worked to shut all the curtains to black out the room! These look great and will last for years. Color was very close to picture, maybe a little darker. LOVE THEM - and the Electric curtain rods! Pros: Look & darkening effect Cons: none

Heavy,rich looking curtains. I was worried they would not be heavy since I have bought some with a similar description from somewhere else and there cheap looking and were transparent to relatively low light.

I am really happy with the quality and finish of that Curtain, its above my expectation. I finally slept through the night and did not wake up as soon as the sun is up. It looks really nice and rich, and the the room is finally really dark.

Ordered six of these for a full effect to cover a sliding glass patio door. They're soft, luxurious and hang beautifully. Very few wrinkles and they hung out without ironing. Provide true blackout. They come with pockets for rods, back tabs, and a hook band so you can hang them whichever way you please. I hung them on hooks and rings...LOVE them.

Wow! These drapes are fantastic. The material is very nice quality, looks like silk velvet. You just want to touch them. The best part is that you can them two ways. We used the tabs but there is a rod pocket as well. Oh and did I mention we can't see our neighbors porch light anymore, which may actually cause retenl damage.

ok so i bought the black ones and WOW!!! My husband and I love them!! He was kind of sketchy on what I bought when i told him, but when they came in and I hung them up for our media room... what a difference. They help keep the Texas heat out and keep the cool air in. I do however highly advise to buy the wrap around curtain rod; otherwise you get some light on the sides coming thru, depending on how far out your curtain rod extends. Hope that makes sense... But WE LOVE THEMMMMMM

These curtains are lovely. They aren't actually velvet but my husband who is hard to please even complimented on the texture of them. I bought 2 panels in white for a basement bedroom window and even the white color offers great blackout. I would love to get these for our master bedroom but we have dirty paws and wet noses constantly looking out those windows and I'm afraid they would get rather dirty. These panels are kind of pricey but I swear they're worth every penny.

I wasn't sure to expect- I thought they would be kind of cheap looking because of the price. I'm very surprised and happy at the quality- no, it's not high end velvet fabric, just polyester fabric, but they drape well and have nice hand. They are not at all shiny- a very nice, soft, matte light velvet fabric. The blackout backing is very effective. Very pleased.

Curtains are heavy, nice lining. I hung them with drapery pins and hooked the pins onto rings. Pins come with the curtains, but I needed more (had extras). They look great. Highly recommend hanging them this way because it keeps the light from escaping out of the sides.

Despite purchasing a light color, it is truly a 'black out' drape. The quality is an excellent/heavy quality, which not only blocks out the light, but is a great insulator. I had purchased a Pottery Barn velvet drape, which was too short, and this drape's quality is incredibly superior.

It is perfect because it is exactly as the colour was shown. The quality is excellent. There were only light creases when I took them out of the bags so they looked good as soon as they were hung. I am delighted with these!
