These silk panels are stunning. They look so expensive. Would highly recommend! There appears to be two layers of lining/backing so they are somewhat heavy. I hung with rod clips and was afraid the clips could not hold, but so far, so good. Would recommend installing the rod with serious wall anchors so there will be no danger of the rod pulling away from the wall.
