This is heavier than I'd anticipated, and lined as well! I needed something simple and did not want to spend the $$$ on a Roman shade. This fits the bill and thensome. I have it on a tension rod and it looks great.

"I ordered three of these. Each was a different color and pattern. This was one of them, one was solid yellow, and the third had triangle patterns and was supposed to be yellow. I needed two that would match. The one with triangles was more of an olive color with maybe a slight gold tone. It looked yellow in the picture, but it didn't match either of the others. This one, which is my favorite, is a little lighter yellow than the solid, but the two, the solid and this one, are close enough to be in the same room. The material is a soft cotton and it's heavy. The tension rods I bought were not as sturdy as I had hoped, but they're holding the panels. The ties are okay, but I don't love them. Since the curtains are so long and heavy, when you bunch them up to tie them, it makes them protrude outward while the top is still straight and thin. These will look best if they can be hung in the center of the window frame so they have room to hang freely. That will lessen the awkward look of the bottom sticking out. I have mini blinds in my window, so the curtains don't have room to hang freely. I'm sure they'll look better with an exterior curtain rod. They are fairly thick and not sheer by any means, but they are not blackout curtains. I think I would prefer something that just hangs straight, but it's just a matter of preference. The curtain, itself, is nice quality."

In general, it seems like a good product, just not ideal for our purposes. Unfortunately, we intended to use this for a door window and it just weighs too much. The fabric is relatively heavy and it's fully lined which is I like. It's very effective for a room darkening effect.
