"As the owner of a sign company, I am very familiar with items like these used to display banners. Normally, you have to attach the banner, but this has the privacy screen already attached, so you just pull it up and fasten it. I'm a little leery of the fastening device. I have not seen one quite like it before. I'm used to another type of device that seems more secure, but we shall see! The one wish I have is that this would be a bit higher. Five feet is not all that high, or at least not for the use we have for it. After all, most adults are taller than five feet, so can easily peer over the top of this. All that said, it comes at a perfect time for us, since we have had to move our bedroom downstairs because of my husband's age, and until we can get some remodeling done, it's difficult to create the privacy we need as other members of the household pass by on their way to the kitchen or out the front door. Now, we can pull this screen in front of that area when we want to get dressed. So, for anyone who needs some temporary privacy, and is usually seated, this will be fine. It's a really interesting idea to take something used for banners as a mechanism, and turn it into a temporary partition. Congratulations to whomever thought of it, and of course, if you contact a sign company, they could probably decorate it for you! New use: Although we could have placed this to block the view into our new bedroom area in the living room, we just found another temporary use for this screen and it is working great! We have rented a storage cube for our driveway while we are doing all the remodeling, sorting and selling or giving away surplus items. We actually have screened off the part of our cube where we are working sorting and cleaning items, and have items we are selling and giving away in front of the screen. It means we can display all the boxes and items without anyone seeing us working behind the screen. They can come to the sidewalk, look into the cube and right in front of the nice white backdrop -- everything we might have for them. It's perfect! I think this is a versatile item with many potential uses."

This is a good basic screen. I needed to block un-treed areas and this sort of works. It is difficult to set up and stay up. It can't be set up higher because it is too hard to connect. I tried. I like the idea of this.

"I ordered this privacy screen for a work at home setup. The room is shared with my child's hobby table that doubles as a school desk when remote schooling is in place. As such, when I am in meetings that require a camera, I want to be able to block off views to the door behind me as well as my child's desk. The product arrived well packaged and even included its own storage case with a separate pocket for the collapsible poles. Getting the screen out of the storage case isn't too much trouble and the whole thing can be stood up or taken down in a matter of a few minutes. Just be careful when removing the the privacy screen from the storage case since the side decorative covers are held on by magnets and can easily come off if they get snagged. But they pop right back on very easily, so I don't see it as a problem. The privacy screen is very thick, so no concerns about light peeking through. The whole setup is light enough to easily transport but still heavy enough to not be a concern of tipping over. The screen, when in in its storage case, can easily be stored under a bed or on its side in a closet. While it works great for my use, I think it would work even better for my setup if it was about 12"" taller and maybe 6"" wider. This is only because I have a cabinet next to me that prevents me from placing the privacy screen closer while still being able to block the view of the door. But I also understand that would put it at greater risk of tipping over by becoming top heavy and the width would make it more of a challenge to store. As such, I am not knocking the overall review rating for this because it isn't a fault of the product, it's just a limitation to how my office is setup. I think for most people the 60"" x 60"" will work great as a privacy backdrop. the narrower 48"" one I think has a more limited use, but it is easier to store due to its smaller size."
